![]() Goal: To have the configured input working in the rest of retroarch work also in lr-pcsx-rearmed. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this. So I am at a loss, hence posting here :(Īdvice is welcome, verbose log on a game boot is above. I read every post I could find on this and tried all their proposed fixes, no luck. I tried binding manually while in lr-pcsx-rearmed through the retroarch shortcut menu, still no luck. The controller works in all other emulators, just not lr-pcsx-rearmed. I tried copying over the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg, no changes. I tried reinstalling the specific emulator from binary and source. I think it has something to do with the retroarch.cfg file as when I delete the file and let a new one be created on game boot, the controller does work but it's using the alternate retroarch GUI that isn't optimized for retropie. They were working prior to running the update scripts. Tested with xbox 360 controller (wired), Switch Pro controller (bluetooth), ps4 controller (wired). How to replicate the problem: Run retropie update scripts.Įverything was working fine, but then I was silly and ran the update scripts because I was trying to do something else - and somehow this broke PSX control mapping.īrief description: My controller(s) keys do not work during any PSX game boot except for the retroarch shortcuts. PCSX ReARMed is yet another PCSX fork based on the PCSX-Reloaded project, which itself contains code from PCSX, PCSX-df and PCSX-Revolution. I've read online that you can just delete config files and it should all reset, but I'm not sure which folder(s) to delete. I kind of just want to reset all my control / emulator config settings but I have no idea how to do that without reinstalling retropie onto the SD using win32diskimager. A solution where I don't have to reflash RetroPie to the SD card would be ideal since I don't have an SD Card reader. Not sure if this is it, but I don't even remember where it was. Tried redoing the inputs for my controller on RetroPie.Ĭontrols worked before but I remember having a PCSX-ReArmed file somewhere (might've been somewhere in /opt/retropie/emulators?) and I deleted it as I was having trouble getting the analog stick to work and saw that this was recommended. Set all User # Analog To Digital to Left Analog, didn't work. Quick Menu > Controls: Set all User # Device Type's to RetroPad and RetroPad w/ Analog. Quick Menu > Options: Set all Pad Type's to default, standard, and analog. Controls work on other emulators, just not PSX.
